The 2009 Cruzin' Havana Car Show & Poker Run was a lot of fun--4,000 classic cars and huge crowds even in the rain showers. Danny Lovendahl of Aurora, pictured above with his family, was the poker run Grand Prize winner and walked away with the 50" big screen TV donated by Havana Auto Parts. On Havana Street runs 4.3 miles along Havana from 6th Avenue to Dartmouth Avenue. It offers unique experiences in shopping, dining and living. Watch the progress of our new lifestyle center, The Gardens on Havana, which is under construction at Mississippi & Havana on the site of the former Buckingham Square Mall. The beautiful new Dick's Sporting Goods at The Gardens on Havana opened in April. Sprouts Market broke ground the first week in April at The Gardens. Qdoba and Noodles & Co have opened on Garden Drive.

The Gardens on Havana opens in the spring of 2009 at Mississippi & Havana. The center plaza rose garden will feature water-wise shrub and climbing roses, interwoven with shopping, dining, and living to create this new mixed-use community.

The new Common Ground Golf Course is scheduled to open in June of 2009
