Freddy Simon was making delicious frozen custard since the 1950s. He opened the first Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburger Restaurant in 2002 in Wichita, Kansas. Franchise owner, Brian Pyle and his dad, Bill, opened Freddy’s at The Gardens on Havana in March of 2010. Freddy’s is classified as “casual dining” defined as moderately priced food in a casual atmosphere. Brian & Bill Pyle currently own Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburger restaurants in 5 locations and are building their 6th location in Castle Rock which will open mid-June 2013.
